The uses of high poly sculpts in Daz Studio are: 1. Zbrush is arguably the best in our industry when it comes to high-poly sculpts. it fits easier into the pipeline and you can rely on zbrush more heavily for poly modeling, retopology, uvs, texturing, rendering and more. I use Blender for morphs, Substance Painter for texturing, Marvelous Designer for cloth drape and Zbrush for normal maps and retopo. from my pov, you get a combination of time saving tools for adding more detail more quickly, finer control over workflow, and more options for painting the sculpt with the full version. The full version of zbrush is packed full of tools. They definitely are super cool and provide excellent reasons to upgrade you get precious few of these categories in core (and none of a few) ZBrush used for sculpting, rendering, and texturing. Maya is used for animation, VFX modeling, rendering, and lighting. When it comes to sculpting, ZBrush is the clear winner in. ZBrush, on the other hand, is a premium software that is specifically designed for sculpting and has a reputation for being the industry standard for digital sculpting. Some examples for you to look up are curve brushes, IMM brushes, VDM brushes, clip brushes, and trim brushes. ZBrush allows you to make your tools and brushes. First off, Blender is a free and open-source program that offers a range of 3D modeling tools, including sculpting. for my own sanity, i won't try to explain them all here, but they will definitely make you hungry for the full version when you see them To ease the process of retopology, 3D-Coat and ZBrush offer a way to automatically generate a nicely flowing all-quad surface for your sculpture. Zbrush has tons of different types of brushes. At the time I write this, the most popular 3D sculpting tools are Blender 3D, Pilgways 3D-Coat, and Pixologics ZBrush.
